Well keeping everything as-is:
400x9 1:1.25 (DDR2-1000)
DDR2 2.0v
MCH 1.29v
ICHIO 1.60v
I get 2-3 minutes of stability in OCCT Linpack. These settings were stable for the last 6 years with 2 sticks of RAM. 4 seems to be a bit more demanding. No other changes improved stability (as explained above).
Dropping the memory to 1:1.20 (DDR2-960) gets me 20 minutes, and the test simply errored without crashing the system. Progress!
Then upping the MCH to 1.37v has so far netted me 45 minutes. I think I'm going to call it good if it survives 1 hour of hell![]()
