    But even at 304 MHz, 45?C is quite high. If the card is only generating about 15W of heat on a 440 mm2 die, where is the problem?

    Low fan speed ? 2 days to wait, we will see at this time. ( huum maybe only 1 if embargo date is correct )

    Well i wanted to check, before i remembered i have not use a single fan on a gpu since ... huum at least 13-15years ( i exagerate, i have maybe make run one of my gpu with the standard cooler one time when i was waiting my h2o block )

    My GTX480 at idle, 50mhz core / 135mhz mem .962v, is at ~50-52C with 45% fan speed and ambient of ~28.5C.

    i used to heat my house with one of those, that thing is a furnace when under 100% load
