Nvidia will answer Hawaii, Super Kepler + Maxwell in q1 2014

But NVIDIA possibly has a well kept secret which they may be aiming to launch after AMD unleashes the Hawaii GPU. The card itself could be the final GPU of the GeForce Kepler lineup and one that ends up as the most fastest of all. A new High-End model based on the GK110 core seems to be in plans by NVIDIA which could be used as a deterrent against AMD?s Hawaii GPU which is supposedly a ?Titan Killer?. This new card could be a single chip ultimate GK110 chip featuring the fully enabled 15 SMX GeForce Kepler core and a 12 GB GDDR5 memory as featured on the Quadro K6000 which is currently the worlds fastest professional graphics card. Or it could be a dual graphics solution called ?GeForce GTX 790″ based on two weaker GK110 cores but with a handsome amount of power over the GeForce GTX 690. At the end what NVIDIA plans to choose would almost certainly be unveiled in Fall 2013 provided that the report is true.

I am quite sure this is the launch schedule of their marketing team, not their engineering dpt.

I bought a GTX 760 a month ago. Nvidia has drivers too. Sure, SLI works but holy damn, every other driver update breaks or kills performance for several games I play. Both AMD and Nvidia need to get their together when it comes to drivers.

Think about how difficult it is making a universal driver for a bunch of different cards, and trying to optimize it to work with 100 different game engines on all platforms.

They could launch GTX 780 Ultra with 15 SMX clusters activated, but that doesn't make much sense since they already have Titan... So I think this is just usual BS from WCCF.

It makes sense from a marketing point of view. Plus its pretty easy to make such a card at this point I think.

sounds like BS. It would be the ultimate burn to Titian owners to have their $1000.00 flagship GPU one upped by another rare and ultra expensive GPU less than a year after launch. I would think a dual GK110 might be more likely but even that is a long shot. I have a heard time see how AMD is going to hands down beat the GTX 780 and Titan without doing a full node shrink. In some games yes but in all games I don't think so. in some games the GTX 780 and 7970 have a pretty big gap (and some it's almost even).

    I would say typical WCCF

I would not be worried if I were AMD, the decimation if it happens will come via marketing and brand loyalty. Never has either red or green released a revolution upon the heels of a me too. AMD architecturally has the defence to weather any storm nvidia could throw out within the next six months.

This is one of the worst made up, pure speculation stories I have ever read. First of, the use of 'probably' and the amount of common sense - yet completely delusional info in there is just like a wet dream for some nvidia fanboy.

This is nothing more then an attempt to get traffic for this site, the kid deserves a punch in the kidney and nothing else.

Extremely fake. None of the numbers match... die size, shaders/tmus, gtexels, gpixels and bandwidth.

In my opinion they already "cheapened" the image of Titan by offering the 780 and 770 with the same air cooler design. They should have reserved it as an exclusive for the top line just like they did for the GTX 690.

I think so too, I was surpised the 780 and 770 had the same cooler as Titan, prestige was not preserved.

End of Q1 2014 for Maxwell, alright. Anything before that is pure BS speculation.
