Three quick questions lads:
- What's the default cache (uncore, ring, whatever) speed in the 4770K? My Gryphon sets 3900Mhz by default, but I keep reading people talking about 3500MHz default.
- What's the deal with offset/adaptive voltage? It doesn't work like Sandy Bridge, that's for sure. There seems to be a ~0.75V bump when an AVX/AVX2 enabled application is run. If you tune voltage with this in mind, you can end up with too low voltage for normal applications...
- When talking about adaptive voltage, and following Intel presentations, the adaptive voltage offset kicks in in the "overclocking region". Does that mean that voltage is as default up to 3900 MHz, and that the offset affects any frequency above that? If yes, is it really an offset or linear as shown in this slide?
Cheers.
