We couldn't get the bclock working on a very slim Windows XP SP3. We had to install the ME driver (9.
0.10 was okay for us), maybe the
.net Framework 3.5 was important too (not sure), but really important was to install the "Formula Drive" software. Otherwise the Rapid OC tool always added +1 MHz to the bclock, without any real changes of the clock. Well, with the "Formula Drive" and a reboot, it was working afterwards. Don't worry if you can't start this software, you can even uninstall it after the reboot. Rapid OC will still work.
Also important are the services: You will need the Intel Clock service and the DCOM process service, they are necessary for bclock too.
