So killed my first Haswell within 5 hours, swapped it and got this junk in return.

Sorry to hear about your loss!

What was Vcore like when it died? I thought Haswell was resilient to high Vcore, as Andre and fredyama have shown with their results...

2.2vcore and 2.9 input, I got a bit generous with the volts lol

The cpu was good though, 1.28v for 5Ghz 32M stability is solid, should have been at least a 6.5Ghz chip

6.5 GHz would have been pretty nice, but I'm sure you'll find a better one.

I just read that Dumo has killed his first chip as well, this is not good...

We both killed them the same night lol, called Roy and was like I think I did something stupid

Stuck on 78, and so was he except he used sane voltages and water, while I used LN2 and not so safe voltages, so not quite sure what the true cause was.

    Good luck all!

Just saw ure thread. Same here. But my voltages were all low n aircooling
    4.5ghz core n uncore at bclk 125@1.2365v each& 2250 7-10-7-28@1.65v-1.67v &Vccin 1.95v.
No issue on bios 0503. Ran same timings last week. Happened on 0017.

Suspect bios with vccin n vttddr.
Before on 2133 i could run it at 1.75v with 0.75v to 0.8v on vttddr
    On bios 0017 was 1.9v n 0.8.
So according to log change whatever vttddr bugfix. Was not a fix

    Bios 0503 vs 0017

HWBot is facing some problems at the moment, if your profile is missing points or if your scores aren't receiving any points, please let me know.

HWBot is running two competitions this month:

    ALLBenchmark July OC Relaxation Contest

Those who have a good memory will remember that almost a year ago, around October 2012, we posted the news of the coming of a new benchmark named Catzilla. The ambitious project of creating a benchmark that should compete with Futuremark's 3DMark lasted longer than anyone expected. It turns out it's not that easy to get a completely new benchmark off the ground. At HWBOT, we were and still are very excited about the benchmark now called "ALLBenchmark". Without having tested too much, it seems to be a 3D benchmark with a lot of influence from system components such as storage and memory. We called it the Aquamark of this generation, referring to the competition it brings to the 3DMark series. Originally, the plan was to integrate the ( Catzilla ) ALLBenchmark submissions directly with our site, using our benchmark API functionality. However, that turned out to be a troublesome process.

But we are not yet ready to give up on this benchmark!

Over the past weeks, the staff has been discussing on how to move forward with the benchmark. Both the HWBOT and ALLBenchmark team spent a lot of effort on trying to get the integration to work and giving up on it would mean the loss of so much effort. However, if something does not work out as you want it to work, it is sometimes better to cut your losses and move on. That is exactly what we did. We cleaned up the backend of the benchmark submission code and prepared the following four presets for submission:

    ALLBenchmark - 576p (Kitty)
    ALLBenchmark - 720p (Cat)
    ALLBenchmark - 1080p (Tiger)
    ALLBenchmark - 1440p (Catzilla)

Currently none of the four presets will generate points, but we will be closely monitoring the activity rate as well as the feedback from the community on the consistency of the benchmarks. As it requires a paying subscription to run any other preset than the 576p (previously Kitty), this will be the priority preset if we enable points for the benchmark. The rules for the benchmarks have been updated as well; you can find them here.

As a celebratory gesture to get the benchmark going at HWBOT, we have set up a small relaxation competition with ALLBenchmark for this month. The different stages all have their own easy-going limitation and should bring a nice challenge to everyone who wants to play something new. The stages are:

    #1: 576p (Kitty) Single GPU
    #2: 576p (Kitty) AMD CPU
    #3: 576p (Kitty) IGP
#4: 576p (Kitty) Dual Core CPU
    #5: 576p (Kitty) Top Score
    Intel XTU Overclocking Challenge

To celebrate the launch of the XTU project cooperation between Intel? and HWBOT, we are hosting the first ever XTU overclocking competition in July. The competition consists of two parts: a desktop contest, and a mobile contest. To participate, download the Intel? XTU software application, install it on your Ivy Bridge or Haswell system, run the benchmark, and submit your score. Easy!

Once you have run the benchmark, you can enter the competition by either clicking Compare in the XTU benchmark application or saving the file to submit manually later. If you choose to submit directly from the XTU application, make sure to choose Compete when uploading the result to HWBOT. If you want to save your benchmark file to submit later, check out the how-to guide on the forums (click). Note that the last step is a little bit different, as you want to submit to the competition and not the general rankings.

Well well well, I have my upcoming college semester paid for and taken care of!
Maybe I'll be able to get a little benching in around a week from now!

Quick question, should any old 4670K on LN2 take care of 3D01/03/Aqua/05/06 on midrange cards?
