Intel Active Management Technology is included with desktop boards intended for corporate environments. To disable Intel Active Management Technology:

Enter BIOS Setup by pressing [F2] during boot.
Go to the Intel ME menu.
Set Manageability Feature to None.
Exit and save changes [F10].
Other board manufacturers allow disabling Intel AMT in BIOS.

Please provide a BIOS option to disable Intel AMT on Z87 boards.

Such feature doesn't make sense on an enthusiast/overclocker board anyway.
