So from Sandy to Ivy there was like around 5% increase but on average the Sandy overclocked a bit higher, so the performance was about the same. Now from Ivy to Haswell there is less than 1% difference for games? What will the next gen of CPU's do after Haswell? 0,5% increase? If this continues my 2600K will still be rocking in 10 years, with new CPU's only consuming less power and have more igu etc stuff build in.
