    Need help for repair my palit 4870 dual fan

    the problem is that even the 2x6pin is plugged properly it doesnt detect the power so it stop on screen and says

    you have not connected one of your videocard power connector to power supply, please refer to getting started guide for proper installlation


    would some one kind enough to point me where in these picture the problem would be solved

    Have you tried baking the card? I have seen reports of that working for some GFX users. There should be some info/guides on the Google, good luck!

    are you sure it's not the psu fault. Did you tried with other cables?

    This was the way my 4870x2 ended its life as well. IIRC its due to the actual GPU being damaged, but not 100% sure (was a few years ago..). Remember that I wasn't alone with having this issue, so should be some info available on the net somewhere.

    I would try different power cables from the psu and see if that changes anything. Nothing to lose, right? if that doesn't work, there is a chance its time to go to the hardware graveyard.
