Do you build the lighting remote? I assumed that was someone else's and that DB had replaced your LEDs with the tricolor ones. I hadn't seen the spotlights before. I like husky but man he can be such a noob on computer stuff sometimes lol. The video has a few mistakes in there, like the temporary BP fittings being called monsoons and the temporary aquacomputer blocks being called EK but that's no big deal. With the husky hookup you'll get a *lot* of views though.

Your right thanks! Not easy screwing up something as simple as copy/paste but I manage =)
I actually worked on that Duke Nukem build also so it was not a totally random screw up.
noobs need love too =)
I think nVidia actually made the video but not sure. TBH I don't really know Husky (not my kind of games) but I certainly appreciate the exposure as we have zero advertising budget.

Always room for more exposure like that for case modding and water cooling, and your review videos are excellent. No reason you shouldn't.
Thanks - yeah we'll see - I wanted to go to CES this year for some networking but it clashes with some of my day-job deadlines.

If your serious, a lot of "business" or networking does seem to get done in Vegas and it's usually a worthwhile trip. You also get to watch a lot of otherwise serious people drink till they fall down as a bonus. Then there are the PR team feuds, the odd broken limb, and and about 100 miles of walking. Hydrate before the trip, bring your camera, and most important, comfortable shoes.
Kidding aside, I would hold off until you have press credentials or a company pass/badge as most people will politely ignore you. Waste of money otherwise.

I asked Richard and he said:
"I will have to ask Husky to pull them up but at stock clocks they were about normal mid 30s. That rad is the thickest EK rad not a normal high performance one and when I installed the EK block on the CPU I used the dot method not the spread method as well as I had a thinner TIM--the first TIM was Ceramique which is so thick you need to spread the crap out of it. The original spec I had was three 360 radiators (I have that case sitting here empty) but Husky only had so much room on his desk so we had to go with a smaller case and fewer radiators. The loop is sufficient but does not afford the bigger over-clocks it would with my original design."
If you have ever been to PDX or Quake Con and watched two or three beefy guys packing one of DB's "normal" rigs up onto the stage you know what he means...anyone seen that dammed fork lift? lol.
Heard back from DB. He said Husky had a little over heating problem tonight and they are going to be adding a second Rad. That third GPU is really too much.
OK--Hank sent along pictures of some of the other colors. There is still a red/red and a red/chrome which I will post when I get them.
These are functional Carbon Fiber (not just pretty inlays IOW)
BLACK CHROME - BLACK CARBON
MATTE BLACK - BLACK CARBON
MATTE BLACK - RED CARBON
CHORME - BLACK CARBON
RED - BLACK CARBON
WHITE - BLACK CARBON
WHITE - RED CARBON
As I mentioned before Monsoon is manufacturing these under license exclusively for Performance PC's In-House brand, "Mod My Toys". They use the same wrenches and are the same physical size as our Free Center Fittings so they work with our Standard and Light Port Rotaries. There are also matching Carbon Fiber Accent disks for the rotaries to tie them all together. I have been experimenting a little mixing and matching the Carbon and Free Center Fittings and there are some WICKED combinations and looks.
Performance will be adding all the BLUE Carbon variations in the not too distant future as well.
I am not positive about pricing but I think they will be priced pretty close to the Free Center Fittings, (even though they are obviously a bit more expensive to make). Not sure if that is just special launch pricing or what--I am pretty much speculating. I will post information on firm pricing when I have it. They are in transit and should be available at Performance late December -- early January.
Hope you guys like them...it was a LOT of work getting these to market and TBH my little company could not have done it without Hank from Performance saying "Hell Yeah we have GOT to do these!!!".
Any resellers interested in carrying these should contact Hank at Performance PC's. That means email/PM him not me =)
Consider Thy Selves updated =)

yeah...the matte black - red carbon just POPS! And the stealth/modern look of the matte black - black carbon is really understated and elegant. The problem is I think every combination is the coolest one when I am looking at it![]()
BoxGods: i wonder if maybe it's worth rather post pics of fitting with some piece of tubing. One thing is render of fitting alone, another how such colors will look together with actual tubing/blocks. For example while i loved most looks of white fitting + red carbon .. when i really think of it, it might not look so well when screwed in nickel plated or worse so in copper waterblock. Good only on very small part of all the blocks with white acetal parts, thus it might mean very small numbers bought. Thinking what types of finish for blocks / reservoir bases / pumptops are most common and which fittings fit for components of those majority looks might be better then considering looks of fitting standalone.
Actually those are pictures, not renders. They were taken by Performance PC. I imagine they will have lots of different shots when they add these to their store. That said there are thousands of different parts you can use a fitting on...they are seldom all the same color in your loop--black radiator, nickel block, etc. It will depend on the individual users personal preference on which colors they like or the theme colors of their build.
@churchy - I'll be getting some review samples in soon from PPCs and was planning to take some photos with different tube and blocksIn fact I should check that they'll send the 1/2 ID 3/4 OD as I have tons of different color tube in that size.

Hank sent along some pics they are using for their Facebook page. He said they have taken pictures with different colors of tube for the product pages. They also have gotten inventory and should have it up on their site in the next few days.
A fitting so beautiful it can easily double as jewelery...

Just looked at the Performance PC's Facebook page...dontcha just love the haters? If you have time maybe pop in and post something positive to support Hank.
Performance has stock up now:

After my rig snacked on 12 of the compression fittings, the rest feel a bit lonely and left out using barbs and worm clamps, I feel so uneasy.. So what did I do?
I ordered 18 more from PPC, not the Carbon ones, a bit too loud for me.. "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".. I have been taking a bit of time off and playing around with lighting and photography, I'll post some nerd p0rn once my PPC package arrives.

The carbons are not nearly as over the top in actual use as the close up images make them look. Pretty elegant actually. The new fitting design I have in the works for Q3 are VERY over the top...because the best kill is OVERKILL baby!
People are asking me about the Carbons in BLUE. Performance just ordered a full series of blue so about 30 days on those. Also 2 other color combinations that sadly I can't remember off the top of my head...one was red and chrome I think...hell if I can remember now. I will post details later when I am at my desk.
