Sadly I forgot to screenshot the score before I closed Cinebench, but I did save it. 8.95 at 5.2ghz
That's inside a fully closed case on Antec Kuhler920 at ambient room temps.
Biostar TA990FXE with 32gigs of 1600 ram.

Got to say this chip feels vastly improved over Bulldozer. Much more forgiving, not near as power hungry and just a hoot to play with.
The fact that I simply dropped it in my motherboard and was at 5ghz in about 10 minutes was just wow. And using the system at 5ghz feels solid as a rock.
Put in several hours of gaming last night without a hitch.

AMD really did well with Piledriver. Can't wait to see what steamroller brings to the table.

Flanker I was setting around 6.3 in bios, but do to no LLC on this board the load volts was roughly 5.4. I can drop that a couple tenths of a volt if I drop NB and HT freq to 1800.
Surprisingly temperatures haven't been a real problem and I'm tempted, (pun intended :P) to push volts just a bit more to hit that 9.00+ for cinebench. Or maybe wait for a cold night and leave my window open.

On a side note, don't know how the AMD liquid cooler mounting is, but on this Antec, I ditched the included flimsy backplate and picked up some 6/32 by 1.5inch machine screws and wing nuts to use the much stiffer motherboard backplate. I get a far better mount this way.

is it only for this benchmark, in load is it little drop to safe run ...I think, my sweetpoint will be some 1.42V and about 4600 MHz for 24/7. But this Vishera is about 200 MHz better than my best FX-8150

The bar colors already represent the number of CPU cores.

I've tried using different colors and shades before and it just ended up looking ugly/more complicated.
I suppose I could make at least one of the cooling types a tad darker, like LN2 to make it stand out a bit? Updated post 782.

Max OC on air (Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme + Scythe Ultra Kaze 120mm)...
VRM enhancements seem to give a small boost, even on such a extreme board as C5F-Z.

This one is pretty decent, however CU2 absolutely sucks.

yes, Sabertooth is briliant for air or watter cooled system. Take new one R2.0.

Managed to stabilize the CNB at 2.8G, however the CNB frequency does not seem to help in CB past 2.6G.

This is on cool water, however the old issue remains: I never remember to purchase proper hoses.
I am currently using silicone hoses with 8mm ID and they are super restrictive when combined with this waterblock.
The flow is less than 2 litres per minute.

The idle temperatures are great, however the flow is not enough to keep the block cool under the load.
Hotspot temperature is only 7?c lower than on air. Still it almost completes CB at 5.4G / 1.57V.
