The non ballistix line now has 1.35v 1600mhz c11 parts in 8gb sticks. Will be picking some up at the end of the month to test, its uber cheap @ £57 delivered for 2x8gb (slightly less than 2x4gb Ballistix!). I cant see how these use anything other than the same chips (outside bet samsung HYK0), but we shall see!

I believe that you will get D9PCP ICs on the 8GB modules. The pic below is from a For Sale thread that I saw about two months ago (note the date on the paper).
In addition, here is a link to a review of a kit of GSkills that were using these ICs.

Are they the 1.5v or 1.35v sticks though? I was under the impression that the 1.35v sticks were a lot newer than that as they only appeared on the uk crucial site a matter of weeks ago, not months. Could just be the two months lag it takes to cross the pond though!![]()
I'm guilty of not paying enough attention to the details...sorry about that. Those sticks you linked are not only 1.35v, but also DDR3-1600, instead of 1.5v and DDR3-1333 so I was way off on several counts. It will be interesting to see what you get and hope you will share once you receive them.

Tbh all im hoping for is some sticks that will tolerate 1.7+. My 3770k IMC wants minimum 1.7v to even post at 2400mhz (vccsa 1v, vccio 1.1v) and 1.68v (vccsa 0.975, vccio 1.05v) for cas9 @ 2200mhz. The samsung HYKO 1209's ive got are utterly useless as that low profile pcb will just fry over time above 1.6v, and my Hynix sticks appear to suck hard at anything except cas 10 2200mhz.
I was all set to get a kit of 2x4gb Avexir 2666mhz C11, but id much rather get the Crucial 2 x 8gb kit at basically half the price. Half of that is the chance the Crucials could be really good for the price, the other half is not wanting to face the disappoinment if my cpu wants even crazier voltages to post at 2666 compared to 2400 (highly likely)!
Looking forward to finding out which chips are being used on those modules and, of course, how well they overclock for you.
The set you ordered is currently available from Crucial on their US site for around $75 (forgot exactly), but the egg only lists the 1333 kit that I pictured above. They do not show your kit at all.

Dang even the most cherry picked Hynix BFR couldn't do timings that tight at 1200MHz!

Very nice timings for those clocks.
If you don't mind sharing, when and where did you get these modules?

Are you sure about this? As far as I know D9PFJ is MT41K256M8DA-125 in Micron's full part number. If you look it up you can see it's a 2Gb IC. ( Just like the D9QMS ihog6hog has posted above. )
The full name of "HYK0" is K4B2G0846D HYK0, so it's a 2Gb IC as well.
D9qms seems very nice, how can i seek for that chips, seek for tx0b part number?
I couldn't find D9QMS on Micron's site.

Link to FBGA Decoder
http://www.micron.com/products/support/fbga?fbga=D9QMS
Yields this:
D9QMS = MT41K256M8DA-15E:K
But that's all I can find.
When I search the full parts number, I don't find D9QMS, although it does appear to be a CL9 1333 part. I'm sure that there is somebody out there that can navigate thru their site better than I can.
