No it was a joke..
This is UCSD, I will be here for a month.
Here's a problem, the buckets would NEVER exceed 100 regardless of settings. I cannot get the node to unleash its full potential.
At this time we are working through a bunch of REALLY difficult work that has meant, for me at least, that I am operating at waaaay under normal.
Using 10 nodes (1 linux machine plus a rented server with 3 nodes)) I was hitting over 35mill urls a day but just now that is ~7Mill
Not a good time to be trying to set up a node.
Depending on what you want to run ie windows which is limited to one node or Linux which can run many I can give you a few hints and tips but it will be hard to optimize either way.

Right now I only have a Windows laptop in this place.
And yes, it is apparent that the bandwidth I'm running at is WAYYY below what was expected..
If you set up with 100 buckets and then in the range 150 - 350 workers Going higher can work but can also cause problems on a node. I have run with 500 workers but for me at least that was the max before reduction in successes
Want more? ask.

I am currently at 250 and 80. But I never see it going higher than 150 and 50.
Error rate is also high up there, with only 55% success rate.
Let that run....in a week or two things should get better and you can try a number of the settings to get best performance
