Bios is the latest that was posted up here recently, with a date of around 8th May I think. Specs as follows:
Intel 3570k L204 Batch
Maximus 5 Gene
Gskill Trident X 2400 CL10 2x4GB kit and Gskill Flares 2000 mhz CL 7-9-7 kit 2x2GB
Asus 6970 stock clocks
Custom water cooled with 1 x 240mm and 1x360mm rads
Antec HCP 850W
I think that about covers most of it. I see a lot of guys with the same L204 batch doing much better than what I am getting and some a lot worse. Here is where I am:

I started 2600 test with relax settings on a 3700K that has crappy imc on air (max out @ 2700)...
Bios set:
Load gamers oc profile
Mem. @ 2600
PLL overvolt enabled
Maximus tweak mode 2
Memory preset @ load raw Mhz. profile
Enhanced speedstep disabled
All others settings on auto
Then you can adjust for tighter mem. timings

Thanks man...will try this once I get home.
And any idea on the vcore? or should i just accept it as it is?
Got one more today, L214B928
Much happier with this one. Able to do 4.5 Ghz as a daily driver at around 1.170V, on load a bit lower. Great chip. Vid is a bit higher than my last one, but that needed 1.275-1.28 for the same speed and ram. And that was ten degrees hotter in Linx.
BTW, can we disable Igpu
Still cant get mem at 2600...could be limited by the mem kit is what it looks like now...
Your deffo limited with those stick i have same trouble.
could be, but what about Gskill Flares 2x2 Gb 2000 Mhz CL7-9-7. I got them upto 2400 8-10-8, but could not go higher.
Ok working on a ripjaws x kit now and 2600 seems to be easier. this is for sure a Hynix double sided kit.
Any HSF compatibility list?
I read posts mentioning Silver Arrow will touch/block the 1st PCIe, even Noctua D14 being really close to it.
Any idea about Phanteks or other nice HSFs?![]()
Noctua NH-D14 fits, but you should insulate the fan clips so that if they touch some part of your GPU, it won't cause a problem. Use some electrical tape or something like that around them.
Asus Maximus V Gene
3570k @ 4.6Ghz +.13v w/Noctua NH-D14
8GB Samsung 30nm @ DDR3-2133 10-10-10-25 1.4v
EVGA GTX 670 FTW @ 1170/6800
2x Crucial M4 128GB SSD
WD Velociraptor 300GB
Corsair HX1000 PSU
Cooler Master HAF 932
Which is the latest bios now? And can someone give some tips of voltage to change for overclocking memorys?

I am having a problem with random black screen with this new beta bios. Seems like its identifying the IGP atleast according to the device manager. Can someone help me out?
Multi monitor off in bios, but a lot of options to play with iGPU are now showing in bios, which were not there before.

Great results andressergio
The board is indeed amazing. I like it a lot.
I almost bought Formula today but I have to pay my rent in 2 days and I didn't want getting into dept again.

here's my 24/7 with this mem i been tweaking for a week, i can boot 2800 np at all but dont want to go on 1,7ish and lazy to tweak im very happy with this results at 2600 10-12-12-25 1T trfc 137 and LB = 6 VDIMM 1.655
***today i tweaked then and wow they improved nicely same volts
perfomance increased very good this is with less DRAM Refresh interval, same latency boundary

Better do a real test iso relaying on the Tweakit output Sergio...
reducing TRSSR to 4 will give you a far bigger real time increase in bandwith ( check with Pi and AIDA ) you will love it !![]()
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro AsusSaaya yupp, I agree

i tried it and wow
before with 5
with 4
now memtest fails instant !!! before passed 220%i increased volts and seem not to help y even set latency bounday 2 steps above and same seems that the parameter tights mem as hell
