i don t test 3209 bios, i just test 3208 with my maximus 4 EX + 3770K + gskill tridentX 2*4Go 2666Mhz

do they work at 2666 ? on MIVE as u have a SB wont but on IVY yes

wish i can go further on that stable mem but 2600 even 2666 boot and can run hyperpi but not stable for games, maybe mobo limits poor P67 lol

i really dont miss my 2600K 5Ghz HT as i got same score with this IVY @ 5GHz / 2400 CL9

I picked up a 3770k today Batch#L206B383 to put in my MIVE until I decide on a MVG or MVFormula.

I updated bios to 3209 and put my 3770k in and booted up no problem. Bios will not allow me to select mutli over 35 so I switched bios to 3208 and same results???

Why cant I select multi over x35 on MIVE with bios 3208 and 3209?

Thanks, been messing with MIVE and figured it out. There is a special way you have to update bios 3208 and 3209 on MIVE. You have to leave USB stick in port, us EZ Flash 2 in bios to update but leave the USB stick in when it says completed successfuly and PC will reboot, then it will automatically go into bios and update a second time then it is complete, you then press clrtc.

I am now back up and running and can chance multi as desired.

Hi all. This we i reibuilt my system ad installed a new bios chip with 3208 bios but i have lot of ram problems.....
I i use all default settings and i try to use Xmp profile (4x4Gb Team Xtreem 2133; cpu 2600k) the bios read the right ram settings but the real mem clock is 1600 mhz! I use alla default bios settings and i try to set mem clock over 1600 mhz (1866 or 2133) the result is the same.

It's better i return to the 2xxx series bios?

EDIT: i made some tests no results with 3208 bios so i changed bios chip to 2302 and xmp settings are ok (mem runs at 2133). Now i shoult test if system is stable or not :-)

I just bought second kit with corsair vengeance 1866mhz.I mount them to mobo and shock. After switch on ... nothing. Black screen, lcd in stand by mode, mobo A2 code and nothing Im depressed

I try:

- demount new kit - false

- switch to second bios - false
- unpluged hdd - false
- change sata port - false
- change pcie port for gpu - false

Everything was working before. Now nothing is working... is my mobo is dead or what ?

so now aint working with the other kit that was working before right ?

do u have another brand of mem ? seems that your BIOS corrupted...u can try to flash it with ROG at the back

but pretty sure that if you test with another stick other brand will start...

try the ROG flash method

grab a flashdrive FAT32 formatted, put bios in renamed to M4F.ROM then put the flashdrive on rog USB port and press the ROG button for some seconds, let it flash till it finishes

A0 its normal but black screen with A0 means that something wrong with mem gave me that when swapping kits the other day...so we are close

HAHA its working !!! I dont know how but after when i change cable ( LCD - GPU ) everything is working. Before i have mounted DVI-HDMI cabel and now i have HDMI-HDMI and all is fine. 4x4GB mems are working perfect

So where was problem... cable ? GPU ?
