    Thanks
If your not going Ivy any time soon,i would stay away from the 3### series bios's,and stick with what you have.

1409 BIOS is great as morheen says you can stay on it, either way with 3209 you wont have problems at all the problem was with 3202

Is the max multiplier still 59x with Ivy Bridge and P67/Z68 motherboards?

I have a few questions, I flashed to 3208 and am running a 3570k and trying to OC now... I can set the multiplier in the bios, disable speedstepping and all that, but CPU-Z reports that my processor is still at stock (3.4ghz). Realtemp is reporting 4.4 (what I have set) but I'm not sure to trust that. Also, the ROG CPU-Z seems to only partially work and the newest version of both vanilla and ROG CPU-Z (1.60.1, 1.58.4) hang on loading and I can't even force it closed. Am I missing something in attempting to overclock?

Run LinX or IBT and look at Gflops...that should tell you if your overclock is setting or not...
    CPU-Z shouldn't hang...

Can you tell me, what is the maximum multiplier possible with a 3570K and bios 3208?

Well, the OC seems to be working now, can only see it via realtemp though. 4.6 @ 1.225v and no other changes to bios. I'll run a few more things to check stability then I'll reboot and check the multiplier.

Just checked and the max multiplier seems to be 59.

4.6 @ 1.225 seems to be stable, peaking at 67c right now, so I think I'm pretty happy with that.

here my results with i3570K on the MIVE P67 B3 using BIOS 3209

never saw my samsungs@ 2400 this is lovely for me

    and here its 4.9GHz at 2400 11-11-11-28 1T at 1,58125

at this last config i can game all games perfect now if i put above config there's no way not even uping vcore, or touching any other timmings on the mem, maybe any of the IVY experts can help me i wana play at 5GHz with mem at 2400, and i know aint mem cauz i already tried 5Ghz at 2133 and 2200 and no way, its a 5GHz problem and i know this is a very good chip with strong IMC that can do 2800

    cheers to all

A note to anyone upgrading to the 3209 BIOS posted above:

Make sure you have successfully flashed to a 32xx BIOS with an up to date ME before upgrading to 3209. I went from 1409 (SB - 2500k) straight to 3209 (IB - 3570k) and the BIOS flashed but the ME wouldn't update and all attempts after that were unsuccessful. I had to put my 2500k back in the system, push my 1409 BIOS from the other chip, then perform an upgrade to 3208 official. 3208 official upgraded the ME without any problems. The 3209 BIOS is great and loads / works just fine once the ME version is correct.

    Thanks

Eureka think i nailed the problem after all, people with the problem off not getting the 2nd card detected in control panel try changing your cpu.
After changing the motherboard, power supply, testing with 2 x GTX580 from friend. I switched my Intel Core i5 2500K with a Intel Pentium G530 for testing and guess what, found my 2 x GTX480 in sli without a problem.
It is now day 2 with the G530 and no problems so far, looks like i'm getting a ivy bridge after all

    IVY@ 4.9 + patriots at 2200 9-11-9-27 1T

    IVY@ 4.95 + patriots at 2225 9-11-9-27 1T

this is the limit not on mem but on speed of chip, i can game perfect at 4950 and mem at 2200 and 2400 but for 5GHz asks me 1,5

    Cheers

It was not the cpu after all, 2nd GTX480 died on me, it was the card all along.

Flashed my MIVE with the 2500K in it with bios 3209 and bought myself a 3570K. PC works fine but in bios ME version is 0.0.0.0 this cant' be right now is it?
