If I was perfect I'd...wait...I am!
Nah, I have so many faults and made so many mistakes I could write a book the size of War and Peace on that subject.
BUT there is one thing I did that was right and that was joining XS and meeting all you guys!
Emails are all sent..168,000+ and took almost 7 hours total..

by hand? batch script?
download all the emails into a text doc and create a c++ program to parse through each string and call a batch to send out an email?

What a bad time for me to have to be moving... I am trying to get all my computers up with a 10 day cache tonight so I can just plug them in at my place while I get networking sorted out...

Just keep an eye on the temperatures.
Also, they couldn't have chosen worst timing for maintenance downtime...

I'm in
The farm is getting some much needed maintenance.
My main rig which had a 2600k in a MIVE is having issues so that was swapped out with a 3930K from the farm. The 3930K was previously at an unstable 4ghz, now its up and running stable at 4.5Ghz although this Asrock extreme 4 mobo seems to by cycling the clocks back and forth between stock and overclocked settings which sucks. I have a Gigabyte G1 on the way to remedy that. Temps are mid-50's when at 4.5Ghz so its not a heat issue and the chip could probably push a bit further with a better board.
2nd 3930K which wouldn't previously overclocked got the bios of its Asrock extreme 4 updated and now its overclocked to 4.0Ghz. If I can figure out how to rig up a mounting system so I can put it in the farm properly under a water block then I should be able to push that up to 4.5Ghz easily (and probably run into the same stupid clock cycling issue.) I have an enzotech sapphire already in the farm and I'm not going to shutdown and replace a single water block, that is waaaay to much work. I think with a dremel and some misc hardware I have I ought to be able to make it work.
A stock clocked 2.4GHz L5640 was replaced with an i7-970 from a downed rig with a dead mobo; clocked at 4.1Ghz
And i'll see about getting up my 2600k at at least 4.5GHz on air for this week; then RMA the board after the week.
Go TRN!
