That's what I said it was back on page one I'm seriously impressed with Zotac, Palit and Colorful this round, they aren't normally the first to release/announce cards of this caliber.

Uhh, are you sure? I haven't kept up on them but they've seemingly been doing this for a long time...just happened to make news this time around.

These cards probably won't make it far out of asia...

I didn't say they don't, I said they aren't normally first. A lot of my sources for news are in the East, I'm sure sure.

I was waiting to see a gtx-680 variant with 2 cores with an explanation "what 1000mhz + 1000mhz = 2000mhz" aka eBay computer engineer math.

After some tweaking and testing, the graphics core could be overclocked to 1.35GHz, the card scored P10738 in 3DMark 11, 9.55% higher than that of the default frequency.

What about the potential graphics core frequency in air-cooled condition would be? We tuned the memory frequency back to 1502MHz. and conducted overclocking towards graphics core, in the voltage of 1.35V, we successfully reached core frequency of 1.4GHz, at the time it scored P10785 in 3DMark 11 test.

Later, we tried higher core/voltage overclocking test, the score improved slightly in the GPU voltage of 1.375V, core frequency reached 1.41GHz, however, at that time core temperature had already been very high at around 95℃ ."
now bring on a fullcover block for 1.5GHz awesomeness

I haven't seen the specs for every 680 out there but IF it does end up this is the highest clock on the mem, then this would be the bios to collect up and mod... (clock up the mem, tighten up the timings and max out tQREF or whatever it was called and lower/increase the voltages)
The software limits are probably modable too, I would assume they are.
Having an unlocked shader clock, if it truly does, is another interesting point about this bios and unique as far as I know.

    I have a ?, probably a dumb one...
I know rivatuner isnt' supported at all anymore.
But I wonder if it can still dump debug regs.
I just tried it and it won't let me, maybe there's a way to fool rivatuner into thinking a supported driver is installed.
But does it support the current api to dump the registers?

    My ? is...
Is there even a way to dump nvgpu regs these days ? (maybe a dumb ? because I'm doubting here anyone cares...)

The review said that its supposed to be a binned chip for 2GHz on LN2, which the switch on the board for LN2 mode would also indicate
Why yes, yes I do use Koolance..*Flame Wall Inbound*

FireStorm software and OC Plus overclocking module with the GPU voltage of 1.375V, its success graphics core / memory frequency increased to 1420/1650MHz ( memory data frequency is 6600MHz) and passed the test in 3DMark 11.

Any news on this card? I have my GF calling her peeps in China to do some digging (she even called Zotac in China for me) but we haven't gotten far. I want to order (2) of these things and the wait is killing me.

    Website is wrong.

First of all, that is Zotac's normal reference GTX680... not this super-uber edition.

    Same here!

I'd drop my normal 680 instantly, it just doesn't like being clocked more than 100+ on air cooling.

Overclocking with air cooling is like trying to send a rocket to the moon on diesel fuel.
