Currently got a A8-3850 in my test rig and am wanting to know how much better the graphics are with a 6670 combined in crossfire with 1920x 1080?

It's better to use a 6570 (both will be DDR3) and overclock the 6550D to the same frequency as the discrete gpu.
With 800Mhz 6550D the gains should be around 35% over a single 6570 (more then 50% in DX11 games).

Why AMD Radeon rumors/leaks "are not always accurate"
Reality check
I don't think so, it seems like a 100% gain...

Dual-Graphics is very well optimized for benchmarks. Try out actual games, and you won't see those 100% increases. The only game I've seen that produces anything near that is Civilzation V, for the rest be happy to achieve 50-70%: if it even works.
Dual-Graphics is like SLI and CrossFireX in the old days, not supported by too many games...
