    i dont get it. i thought ib was supposed to run cooler than sb? or is that only at stock clocks? does temp increase ramp alot faster for ib as volts increase?

    the cooler doesnt even feel hot when u see core temps at 105c so that should give u a hint as to whats the limitation here.

    totally agree with you there, as the power consumption isn't that high for all that heat, and the coolers don't get so hot as if the CPu was running that hot either. Good thermal paste and great contact as well as rapid heat transit is very important for this platform, you can't just toss on a water cooler and call it a day.
