Will post some pics when have a chance. First time working with Case Labs. MH10 easily my favorite case to work with of all time. Makes my old 800D gaming system look pretty sad.
I will be honest with you.
I did want to be the first to show the dualie E5-2687W here but thats life.
Congrats to you and nice numbers!

I'll just show mine on a different board and you've given me a goal to surpass on the BCLK

Some crap phone pictures. Need to clean up the cables but everything is working. Also this system was kind of cobbled together from parts I already had - besides the cpu/board of course.

One note - this new swiftech dual pump is nuts. I've never seen a loop get the air out so fast. It's so powerful in this small loop that when i turned it on it just blasted water through so fast giant violent air bubbles came flying through the loop into the res, making huge gurgling sound for about 10 seconds, then dead quiet. Actually laughed out loud it it. It's running about 2 gpm right now so I plan to dial it back to make even quieter.

Kill-a-watt says entire system pulling about 560 watts while rendering. CPU only though, GPU's idle besides drawing the windows screen.

    Power:

    System is idling around 250W.
    Rendering CPU only around 560W.
Rendering in Arion, both CPUs and both GPUs, around 770W. Less than I would have expected.

    Interesting and not too shabby.
My SR-2 system with 2-X5680's at 4200MHz showed between 640W and 665W at full load on the cpu's with vid idling so
almost 100W less with this system.. Very nice

So after some more testing this thing has hit a wall at BCLK 105. BLCK 106 will not even boot. The BIOS allows you to specify multiplier but the chips just ignore the setting.

I suppose i could spend some time tweaking voltage etc to get a BLCK 106 or 7 to boot but honestly not worth the effort for another .5% performance or whatever.

Still, decent fast machine that is faster than my SR2 and consume less power and less heat. not bad.

Oh you are such a comedian!
This thread is SO off topic that it will become the poster boy for off topic threads and poor Beaker7.
All the poor guy does is drop $6-7G's, build a nice machine and then gets harassed.
XS will be lucky to ever see a new build again.

I thought we're all about business in here.

I just felt so compelled to compliment your Vasoline quote... I just couldn't help it but to work the Vasoline in myself.

Edit** that build looks nice short of unreal beaker7, what plans do you have in mind with it since you've taken the efforts of putting it under W/C?

But in all seriousness, its a machine for work. 3D rendering and fluid simulation using content creation tools such as Maxwell, RealFlow, etc. Also when the 7200 rpm drives are in will double duty as a DaVinci Resolve finishing station.
