IMO none of the alleged benchmarks show kepler as being "4 months better" than 7950/7970, so no matter what it'll be a bit of a disappointment. the disappointment MAY be minimized if the prices fall a LOT. but I don't think they will because everyone knows 28nm is having trouble, is rare, and is under incredible demand.
