Awesome! Thanks unrealer, that was really helpful. How hot does your card run at idle? Did you need to do a voltage mod to go to 930? I'm leary about going to 900 after Kets first 460 blew itself up.
By the way install the 285.27's I bet you'll get a big jump. I got a 400pt increase.

Ouch... unless those VRMs are kept really cool I wouldn't pump that much voltage through 24/7. Around 1.1v max for 24/7 and even then you still need to make sure the VRMs have a good heatsink on with good TIM at least.

In case any one cares Frozen cpu has some thermalright brackets on order for GTX460/560 on order. They should be coming in soon.
So I installed the Arctic Accelero XTREME Plus on my GTX 460.
Absolute beast of a cooler. One problem, somehow the fans won't spin when connected directly on the 3pin header of my 460.
I have to manually run it at 7v with an adapter. Which leads to another problem: VRM overheating when using Furmark.
GPU only reaches 56 degrees max, but after 3-4minutes the VRM temps get too high and I get a black screen. I believe if I could run the fans at 100% then the VRM overheating would be gone.
It runs 3Dmark and games perfectly fine though. I tested 900MHZ @ 1.0875v today and it ran 3Dmark 11/Games without any problems.
There is VRM cooling on my Gigabyte GTX 460, but there is a thick thermal pad under the vrm heatsink. Would it be better to replace that pad with Arctic Silver 5?
