Which nVidia driver works best for you?

This is just to get a general consencus mainly but also to help sufferers with the TDR bug, which nVidia driver works best for you?

I usually use the newest one unless it presents a problem in whatever game I may be happening to play that week.

Haven't had a specific fav since 178.26 quadro.
Been using the latest and greatest quadro driver when I feal like checking the for latest.
I usually go months without updating it though.

The newest Quadro drivers are actually 280.47

i had alot of problems with the last set. now no problems what soever with the newest set.

The problem with drivers 280 and newer is that they all have the TDR bug. If you are fine with doing some vBIOS editing you can fix the problem.

im also using a videocard that is like 5 years old lol.. so im guessing most of these driver updates dont effect me too much

TDR bug is hitting a lot of people, not sure what cards they have, new-ish though. 1-3yrs I'd guess.

mine was when i was crunching, i would pause it and the driver would crash, every single time.. got so irritating i stopped gpu crunching

You were having the TDR bug. Check my other thread for a solution or switch to 275 drivers and the bug will go away.

290.53 have been best for me but I have not tried any quadro drivers for a long time, I mainly play BF3 not sure which quadro might be good.
