BIOS is 44 I think Data:01/13/2010. Never tried newer one, but as I know the new ones are better for gulftown and worse for bloomfield. That one is OK for me. I`m flashing it like a video card BIOS using bootable flash with DOS.
Don't know actually what you are asking about. Don't expect 4.6Ghz or above to be stable if you want to bench that's OK. Your chip has unlocked multi so I really can't see where the problem is?? Overclocking an unlocked chip must be very easy. No one is going to tell you what exactly to change, the thread is big read it, try some settings and if there are questions then ask. Also these 6x2GB can be a problem during overclocking and I guess you will need more VTT to get them stable, never tried 12GB on Evga actually cause I don't need that much memory and I'm not using my second kit.
