    Help with boot

    So i decided to format an old pc and install a fresh copy of windows 7, after installing windows i always get a screen saying no ide hdd found and i always have to press f1 to resume inorder to boot its so annoying.
    Any help on how to fix this is appreciated. Thanks.


    System: intel q6600
    asus maximus formula x38
    4gb corsair dominator
    4870x2 gpu
    250gb seagate barracuda sata2

    Check your BIOS setting and disable all the IDE ports.
