    Helping pick out text-friendly phone.

Hello fellow XSers. I need your help. I need to find a good text friendly phone for the Verizon network for my mom. She texts a lot and needs something that has a full keyboard so that she doesn't have to hit the same key several times just to type one letter. Smart phones are out of the question. I'm assuming that "text-friendly" phones shouldn't cost much. If you do find a phone can you include brief information so that I can cross compare with other possible choices?

    Thanks for the help.

Of all the phones I've had, the one I go back to is my old 6680 due to its texting abilities. Activate predictive text and away you go, I can out-type anyone using a QWERTY or touch phone. Consider something with the traditional 123,456,789,*0# layout.

I still rock an alias 2... and get weird looks from nearly every one in my grad classes (studying HCI). It's nice, has a full qwerty if that's what you're looking for. It's also pretty durable.
