    Personally, I would prefer a standard black background, white text LCD display.

    stephen: imho it's worth to include in set of 7970 heatsink some thin copper adapter plate like EK's, as otherwise universal block might not make contact with chip.

    I will see if I can post a drawing for the MCP35X2 dimensions before the incoming release
    Hi guys, I released the X2 housing just now, but sorry, I didn't get the drawing in time. Hopefully can update the page with it later.

Also can you tell what are mounting dimensions/screw holes and alike. I wonder if it can be mounted like EK's dual top in 5.25 bays, and if someone, eg. UN-Design, decide to release some mounting bracket for one dual block, will it fit for another?
    And second question that arose to me is fan related one. - Do you plan to make 140mm variety of fans? Seeing you planning to release 140mm QPs, such model might be good accompanying product, especially knowing that there are no GTs of that size it might gain even bigger share of larger fan market.
    P.S.
    Also wiring that comes along dual top. Can you show it's schematics? I know that with fan splitters rpm wire should come only from one for readings to be fine. I have suggestion as to wire rpm wire from one pump in 4-pin pwm connector, but from second pump tach wire only make into separate 3-pin or 4-pin connector. This way both pumps can be regulated simultaneously, but we keep option of monitoring both pumps.
    And what do you think of changing connector color to black one?
    Warranty void update:

    The void warranty policy has been lifted (with restrictions) for the MCP35X and MCP35X2 housings.

    See exact language on product page, but restrictions (leaks) reflect our concern for ppl not installing the product correctly, or for some product defects or other damage (shipping etc..) that we normally catch when we leak test the ourselves; it remains the responsibility of the user to carefully inspect the device prior to installation.

    Gabe, can you please fine tune the ETA (like early or late <insert month here>) on the 140mm rads?

    What is better than a 35X...two married together..

    I do like the looks of the dual top and that PQ curve is pretty nuts as you would expect..

    Great work gabe!
    Will you update the bundle options aswell? For example to add 2 pumps + top to get a better price overall?
    Asking because I need to buy pumps also

    What about EU availability? Can we expect retailers to have this top within a week? (EU)

    Waiting for the drawings...

    Hello Gabe. I have a couple questions.

    I am building a dual loop build.

    1. Does this new bay reservior require the dual pump top to function?

    2. Can I use the outlets on both pumps to pump to both loops?

    3. Does this reservoir have sufficient inlets to accept 2 different loops in?

    4. How many bays does this reservoir take up with the pumps attached?

    5. How many bays does it take up without the pumps attached?

    6. How do the pumps attach?

    Thank You.

    Looking forward to the comp fittings. Would be great if they are close to XSPC's prices.

    1. No. Maelstrom can work either: by itself (no pump), with a MCP35X or a MCP35X2. It's also virtually compatible with other brand's tops.
    2. No, MCP35X2 is strictly a serial pump setup, one pushing through the other. they can't be decoupled.
    3. It would have enough inlets but not enough outlets.
    4. two.
    5. two also.
    6. using the G1/4" inlet port of the pump and additional side screws.

    On a side note, that was discussed before but a dual loop with a common reservoir isn't really a dual loop as there is heat exchange between the two loops. in other words the coolant temp of one loop is related to the other - most likely pretty close to each other. This kind of defeats the purpose of having 2 loops, IMHO. Why not go with a single loop?

    stephen: imho common res parallelised pseudo two loops:
    (+) probably tiny bit more flow vs two pumps in serial all@one loop (here i'm guessing/speculating from results of ill fated primochill typhoon);
    (+) like with all serial one loop all rads work to cool hottest element with uneven/not full load;
    (-) no extra pump redundancy;
    (-) no thermal isolation of loop elements like in truly separate multi loops.

    I may have too. I just wanted to have the two 5970's separate from the CPU loop.

    I already own a MCP 35X. I wan't going to buy a 35X2. Do I have to just buy that top and a second MCP35X to convert my one pump to a X2?

    Yes you can buy the MCP35X2-"Housing" and use it with your one MCP35X you already have. The you will need another DDC (MCP350, 355, 35B, 35X...)
