    Options for water temp monitoring

What options are out there for water temp monitoring? I know the Aquero can do it (along with getting me to the moon it seems) but it's cost-prohibitive at the moment and has too many features I don't need.

I'm looking for something that is temp monitoring only, somewhat inexpensive, has a G1/4 plug sensor, and can report temperatures to a Win7 environment. Does something like that exist other than the Aquero? It would be even better if it didn't need a 5.25" bay because I don't have any of those available.

I saw something for about $45 on FrozenCPU that covers everything but reporting water temp to Windows... it just has an external display. I don't need an external display, but what I do need in this is temp reporting to Windows.

    Anything out there?

    Thanks guys...

If your board has onboard optional temp sensor headers like most ROG boards have then its very easy to do.
just get something like this from BP http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=24759
or then you can get a inline temp sensor like the one from aquacomputer. http://www.thewatercoolingshop.co.uk...uct-71162.html
    Cheers !

That Bitspower temp probe is perfect. Wow! I need that. Thanks for the heads up.

I don't think my MSI 890GXM-G65 board has that... It'll get my X6 to 4.0ghz though

Do you just want to see the temperature or are you monitoring for shutdown/fan rpm etc? If you just want to see your temps then you can just buy a cheap lcd temp display, chop off the air temp sensor then solder on an inline or plug sensor.

I really don't need external monitoring (a screen really)... I'd rather be able to log it or something within Windows so I could plot CPU/GPU temps versus water temp. If I need an Aquero to do that...

Are there any other products out there like the Aquero that don't have a screen, but just a little control board I could mount somewhere that interfaces via a USB header or something?

Alphacool HeatMaster and T-Balancer BigNG are other options but they are both more expensive than Aquaero LT

Oh wow... I didn't know of the LT... I thought just the XT existed. The LT is going to be more than enough...
