AQ in-line temperature sensor & flow restriction?

What's the word on the the AQ in-line temperature sensor and flow restriction? I remember reading somewhere that there was some concern that it added restriction but I couldn't find any definitive answer.

I don't see how they would reduce flow any more than any old straight fitting. I have a couple in use in this system, and they're just simple female-male fittings with a bit of plastic around the outside to hold a standard sensor in place. Nothing special.

what is the internal diameter of these temp sensors?
I have 1/2"ID tubing and compression fittings in my loop, and I was thinking of adding 2 temp sensors but was wondering the same restriction problem!

IF the ID of these sensors are different to the tubing and fittings, would it not effect the flow?
