Thumbs up New LTD Record (1300MHZ) @ Abit KV8PRO Rev. 1.0

Ok last night i broke my LTD record.....
    Set LTD X 5 (1000) and raise FSB up to 260 MHZ @ CPU X 8 @ MEM 1:1
Still dont believe it but is true......
System is rock stable at 258 FSB but no stable at 260 (LTD 1300) on 3DMARKS......
Now i have biger room to play with.....
I will do more because i think this is NOT the MAX i can GET.....

Also please Note that i use 4 BANKS (2x512 MB ADATA VITESTA Double Sided) at CMD 1 ...

    ENJOY with me.....

Too bad it doesn't make a LICK of difference when gaming, since LDT of just 600Mhz is already a lot faster than AGP8x.

    Nice job, Dagalidis!

Does this high LDT make any difference in 3d mark?

    Nice,

But what difference does it make?

afaik it doesn't do much for performance. I only see it as a factor to control the mem and cpu speed.

When I changed to the PC3200 memory it allowed 5x, with divider in place it forced 4x, of course i only checked it w/Sandra, but it displayed 5x (1510mHz)

wierd the only way i can get 5x is if i disable the locks. divider or not with 4 diffrent sets of memory(1 set pc3200, 2 sets of pc3500 and 1 set of pc3700)

What speed was your memory running at Charlie. It seems to me that LDT is more a function of memory speed then fsb. The best I've done with a nforce board is 268 X 4. There's minimal if any differnce between 4 LDT and 3 LDT in 2k1

WHere else other than sandra can the LDT value be checked. on the A8V Sandra reports 2x800 no matter what speed I run the system at.
