The SL7K* specs i believe are the cpus that are meant to run at 1v. There are only 2 specs with SL7K* on the intel site, the 3.2E and 2.8A, both supposebly have a vcore of 0.9**- 1.0**v

So, I guess I will keep this one and get him another

That may explain why the label says 1.4V Max..

actually all Prescott cpu's say max 1.4v, even my CO steppin one with its 1.4v default vcore

Give the CPU a whirl first to see wat its vcore is etc. The celery's are said to have 1v for vcore yet ppl are runnin them at 1.3v default for some strange reason, but it would explain the huge oc's they are pullin off to.

I think you may be right that this may be the same core as the 3.2E or 2.8A...

Running it at 3924 Mhz right now on air (TT slk948 with 92mm Panaflo) and 1.5V. This at least 200 Mhz faster than any of my other Cpu's would do on Air

That's the first 2.8E I've seen on air reaches that speed on that voltage. Very nice.

yes, This is a good chip.. I am going to play with a little more on Air and see if I can get it to 4Ghz...

After that, it gets connected up to the Mach 1..

    Prescott
    SL7KA 2.8E and SL7KB 3.0E

Why are they still not listed on the Intel site ?

They are D0 stepping for sure...but what about their default Vcore ?

Could 0.950-1.050 be true or is it a typo ? (just a guess since the SL7KC 3.2E specs say so)
