pol on the giga i had problems and recently Tony asked me for help with the same messages of USB reporting errors...u can disable those on the USB hub on devices i know aint the solution but sometimes it does this cause variations of volts on the ports

u dont use USB3 now just eSATA and common USB2

I will take some pics when i get home and put here for ya if you dont find it

    I'm on water as well.
    yeah no problem at all

i run that for 5GHz or 1,44 for 5.1HT no problem while chip is cooled correctly and remember that you will never get stress level like prime or link so not an issue

btw for me the absolut limit doesnt exists i like to OC and keep things cooled correctly, but i heard that 1,45 LOADED its max, and mine its 1,416 LOADED so its distant

Disabling the controller was a quick fix but now I'm testing again with it enabled to see if I can get the problem to repeat. I had recently switched cpu and was running/testing a higher daily o.c. when this occured the first few times.

You are running 16GB dram right? I recently picked up two kits of GSkill (16GB/2133) from someone in the classifieds who was parting out their system and I seem to be able to run either kit at 1T but with both kits installed I seem to need 2T? How much difference or advantage is there between the two CR when running high speeds/high densities? Do you think it might be related to this particular chip's IMC? AIDA 64 bandwidth still seems okay with 2T.
Ryzen 9 on the test bench... Sometimes older generation/tech as well.

    Hello All,

First the thread was very informative and full of expreriences with ASUS MIVE + Intel 2600k.
I have found many of the answers during my journey to limits of 7/24 usage.

I posted the current achivement however I was willing to hit 5Ghz psychological limit for may 7/24 set up.
Considering that the temps are not a problem and my systems fully colled with water including mosfets,
SB and NB so should I go for like 1.45V Vcore for daily usage?

    Thanks for relply in advance.

    New microcode update.

An option under system agent to disable remapping , seems to be added to all the Asus P67's. I'm curious, does anyone actually have a good reason to disable memory remapping?

As i had no idea what it was i had to google it :p
seems like it will help to turn it off if running 32bit OS (will read 3gb instead of sometimes 2gb with remaping on).. if that's incorrect someone tell me because i spent about 10s on it lol.

Afraid to switch over until i get some peeps confirmation.. (seems like these new bioses don't let you flash back to older ones)

Very basically address space is taken up by some of the hardware, usually towards the top end of 4GB. Since RAM can not use those addresses it gets remapped above 4GB.

For instance if you had 1GB of hardware addresses and do not use remapping with 4GB or more of RAM then you will lose the use of 1GB of RAM even when using a 64-bit OS.

    Hey fellas.

I got some kind of problems with my brand new m4e. I cant get it to post with sticks in two dimms. One stick/one dimms boots fine at rated speed. Ive tried diff sets of mem but non of them will work in pair. Ive tested the sticks on diff plattform and works there. Im using 2133 ripx 8-9-8.

Ive also tried diff bios but no go.

Strange thing is that i used them for some testing on the rex and after that i was gonna use them in the gene i also have. Thats where the problem started, no boot when using two dimms. Thought it was ed up so i bought a m4e and the same problem enters.

When booting it hangs on code 30. It also hangs on 19 sometimes. Am i missing out on summet? And as stated the sticks work in dual channal on rex and on a amd plattform.

AND Im NOT using the dual channal bridge

Any help would be very welcome!

Hmm. did you try all mem slots with just one stick at a time?

Also from reading rog forums, seems a little bit of an issue with the dimm slot clips where
people were not making sure dimms fully seated. was causing people problems with
needless RMA's . if all dimm slots work with with both sticks by themselves, then maybe
try reseating cpu? I have some corsair gt 2000 7-8-7 that will boot in my M4E (not stable)
but i think will not even post in my gigabyte UD7.
