Good work on your new Bulldozer score, Steve. You almost caught Hybridchiller in the 8x ranking.
Was 7-9-7 at 923MHz on the RAM really necessary? Aren't you using the 2000C7 kit?
Put some LN2 on that CPU Steve and up them ram and NB speeds and take spot 1 !
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro AsusSaaya yupp, I agree
^^ Thanks guys, I did up the ram some, need to work some more on the NB speeds maybe. I think if I take the time to set up better storage that will also help. Right now all I am running is 3x C300/64s - same partition for all tests, With a little more work - I'm pretty sure I can get more out of HDD general usage at least.
I will post a Sempron score this afternoon![]()
??????????? what are you talking bout Willis ?

Stage 5 is gone for me and v2-v3, unless some guys would join. Both cards modded to the extent. cap mods, ocp mods, heatsink(hacksaw) mods. vmem mods. These cards are prepped for their last days of benching. Due to circumstances we won't get the necessary scores for stage 5.
There are two more stages where we could join. Hopefully in the pcmark stage SteveRo joins in. wprime 8core is yours SteveRo/beepbeep with your 8150s.
This week I'll be in Cary, NC. Hopefully Ill finish my exams and I'll be back benching the last remaining stages. No update from til then.
@Don_Dan when are you graduating? you've been studying too much bro.
I was planning on playing in the pcmark stage, I will read up.
edit - the pcm7 stage does not close until 30Dec. lots of time - which set up should I do? go for max score?
If max score is the goal - best would be either x58/980 or SB/2600?
Does anyone know if pcm7 uses all threads? Pcmv uses all 12 in x58.
Probably best would be 980 on the Giga X58-OC?![]()

I'll have to look into it. I've never had pcm7 in my units. These will be a quick few days, Holidays bro! We'll need you to make the highest score. since this will be averaged. I'm not sure which will score more though.
Can you please run wprime1024 on your bulldozer too?
pcmark7 stage - "cpu defined my socket"
-2011
-1366
-1155
-1156
I will have 3960X here on Tuesday, so if it is not a turd I am down for some PCmark7 action, unfortunately I have never benched any of the PCMark's and I know that the storage is very important and I have no nice raid cards, but I do have a pair of Force GT 240GB if anybody has a third I would be down to send my drives to the resident pcmark expert (stevero cough cough).
Mr. Louds - excellent - if you do socket 2011, I will do 1366, we need someone for 1155 and 1156 each.
Also - PM me your email.
Guys - question - do the rules say it needs to be a different member for each of the four submits?
edit - Mr. Honda - copy that - wpr1024 on BD - will do.
I don't have great expectations as I probably can't go much over 6ghz with only cascade.

1. You need three, not four submissions
2. Only top three submissions by different members count for the average. Example:
SteveRo - 99999 pts on LGA2011 <- this counts
SteveRo - 98000 pts on LGA1366
someguy - 10000 pts on LGA1366 <-this counts
someguy - 9000 pts on LGA1155
somedude - 333 pts on LGA775 <-this counts
So it's best to 1) pool your storage resources (you can share the storage setup) 2) assign platforms to members, so that you don't do unecessary runs that won't go into the average anyway.

OK i think I understand, if Loudsilence does s2011, I do s1366 we need at least one more - either s1155 or 1156 right?
^^ you have pm
