I've tried all the tricks here:

    http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=135&t=23153

to solve my issue of not being able to sign in to Apple ID, but nothing seems to work

    I have, however, managed to..ah..'obtain' ;P CS5 MC - installed & working

edit: I also couldn't seem to get my mic working in skype

Hi Shoota my suggestion would be to use the Lion L1/L2 version from iAtkos released on the interwebs as you got a gigabyte board there are big chances that it will be fully supported and DSDT able you can find HERE (you will need to have an account from tony in order to download it just make sure you know which revision you got and the right bios which only F4/F5 are support it good luck ) as far as the GTX 210 card is wonderfully support it as a matter of fact I used to use them all the time...

Good luck make sure you use Graphic Enabler = Yes to get the most of your card and good luck!!!
KEXT, instruction and tutorial can be found HERE too!!

Let me know how it goes!!

Hi there tiro... I first had issues too using iCloud and the App store it helps using the option of EthernetBuildIn=Yes at org.chameleon.Boot.plist at the Extra folder... should fix that after a reboot.. using a program called champlist helps doing it with out messing the bootloader is a great Free app!!

Ok iAtkos Lion is downloading. I wouldn't say the 210 is wonderfully supported, in fact of all the installs I've ever done I have only gotten it to work once or twice. Maybe I just don't know a trick or something. Advice? graphicsenabler doesn't seem to work..
I saw the DSDT for my board but I seriously don't want to revert to F5 bios because this board doesn't have a good track record and it's working just fine with the current F7 bios. So what should I do if I don't use the dsdt?

Fair enough you dont need DSDT in fact I havent use them in ages and my mobos is always been fine so dont worry about that.. I find the 210 to be great I have installed it on SL and Lion to 4 of my friends that didnt want to play games with and is been happy to run with QE + full res, what I normally do is use GE=Yes also make sure you have the flag bug for Nvidia cards on Lion which is npci=0x2000 and PCIRoot=1 and if that doesnt work I make sure I boot on 32 bit arch=i386 and install champlist and use the following settings...

something I might add because of the new Fermi drivers included on Lion that creates a bug with the use of npci flag so if the card feels laggy going from low use to high load I would edit the AGPM.Kext inside the Fermi100hax drivers and add your device id to it or just remove it Graphics Power Management makes the card run slower than usual on low end nvidia cards...

i downloaded a small game that supposedly checks to see if QE is enabled. it runs and detects my card correctly so I assume everything is A-ok. Next is sound... (oh, and thank you SO much, this is going to be a hackintosh cruncher )

sometimes your built cant identify correctly the Root (location of you cards specially if you got a SLi\Xfire) of the video card so PCI root 1 sometimes helps you might not needed I use it on mine as an option as I got 2 cards running on my built...

right so I take it you got a ALC889 chip which is the same one I got so when you are installing multibeast only and ONLY select this options under Audio as if you elect all you most likely kill your build and have to reinstall the OS

Again only select ALC8xxHDA & AppleHDA Rollback rerun the disk repairs and restart

And make sure you use only the Multibeast Lion version from TonyMacx if you are using Lion of course use the SL version for SL

well you should of make a back up of the kext to add or edit it I believe a simple run of kext utility will re run the disk verification and after a restart the sound should work... if not look at the system report and check if the audio id is there..

Didn't work.. How do I just start over? Pull out each kext that has anything to do with audio and then re-run MultiBeast?

Oh shiz again! I got it. Turns out my revision (rev. 1.0) uses the 892 codec so I installed ALC8xxHDA, AppleHDA Rollback and the 892 related non-dsdt hdaenabler. This just keeps getting better

LOL I was pulling my hair out with ya!! XD anyway now that you know the right audio id you can update there arent any mayor differences on updates so I would update fine, you might lose audio and have to reapply the audio fix, but thats about it....
