I have never had problems at 2400 with 4 Sticks or stability once booted with 4 sticks and 16gb. The problem for me arises at 2400mhz with 8 sticks and 32gb. Glade your problem has sorted its self out though.

Nice chip u got there bro. My 3960X loves voltage so much it needs 1.55v+ to get stable at 5GHz.
It's ok I think it's the dimm A1 went faulty. but nvm as I've just grabbed another RIVE. TQ
Populated dimm has been an issue since SB. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Can't wait to play with 8 sticks at rated speed/timings![]()

I can get all 8 of my dimms running at the rated speed (2133MHz) with the rated timings. Since i lowered the RAM voltage to 1.6v everything has been fine.
