Before biting the bullet and buying this mobo, i have some questions about this board.

Does the every bios for this board support Bulldozer cpu's or do i have to boot with my Thuban and flash bios first?

Does disabling Turbocore in bios actually work on this board? (unlike a lot of other boards)

Is it necessary to connect the extra 4-pin connector on the top side of the board? And what about that molex connector?

Yeah, all the boards support BD from the get-go. My board shipped with 0705, and I was unable to overclock with Thuban with it. "reverting" to beta 0051 fixed things...
It isn't necessary to connect the extra 4pin, however your Revo has an extra 4+4 so why not? ...it cant hurt.

Turbo disables correctly for my Thuban however until I get FX (probably not for another week or so) I couldn't say anything about that.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

I'll keep my Thuban a little while longer, just in case.

Yes i have a Revo PSU but all my cables are sleeved and tucked away so if i can do without this connector it saves me some sleeving. Sleeving is not the funniest job to do you know.

This turbocore thing is driving me nuts atm, having all cores running at a steady frequency would be a relief.

I have to build a new system for my parents in law so i think an Asus C4F plus Thuban 1090T will suit their needs perfectly fine.

Newer shipped boards should not need a thuban to post with BD.

    Disabling turbo core works right.

Yes to 4 pin at top of board.

Molex only if running heavy crossfire.

How do you plug in the extra 4 pin on this Board? My Corsair 750w doesn't have one. I am looking at getting a new PSU, do some have this connection now?

Just make sure the 4 pins aligned right. My EVGA 1200W doesn't have it, so I used an xtra sever psu to connect the 4 pins power.
