Once ever thing is sorted at our end we will be able to create much deeper colours for IDC liquids and make them as a premix, How ever a lot is going on over here atm and i can only do one thing at a time.

Once we have the premix from IDC i will start working on them and i have to discuss the situation with my partner. One thing you need to remember is all this so far has been done on my own now i have a partner i will have more time to crack on with development and other things.

so some mayhems and a silver kill coil is all we need? I got colored tubing bacause of horror stories and high maintenance, but was thinking it might be nice to add some color to be seen in the res. Just looking at options. thanks

The following loop was used for pretty much exactly 3 months. Never turned off. CPU ran full load 24/7. The coolant used was Ice Dragon Cooling nanofluid. It had an entire 5ml bottle of Mayhems dye plus about 25ml of Feser clear UV dye. There was a lot of sediment in the bottom of the bowl after draining the loop. As well as some inside the CPU block. Doesn't look like it had anything to do w/ the coolant or dye though. More than likely debris from the radiator. There was a clear hard piece of something on the block (to the right hand side in the pic). Not sure what it was. But there was no signs of any bad gunking like we have seen in the past. Which I personally think is caused by plasticizer in tubing. I will be using the same used coolant (plus adding more dye ) in an upcoming loop. This time it will more than likely be ~ 6 months before a tear down. I'll do my best to clean the radiators and blocks excessively to get all the debris out that I possibly can.

What the coolant looks like w/ the dye. This is about all that was used in my loop.

What the Rasa looked like immediately after taking the loop apart.

Block cleaned up mostly fine. The second picture shows a slight staining to the block. Ketchup was even used for cleaning.

And in other news the search for a good clear tubing that does not cloud continues. I was told Primoflex LRT doesn't cloud. Guess that is wrong.

So what exactly is Mayhems Pastel Concentrated? It doesn't give a very good description. Is it one bottle of the concentrate to 750ml of IDC?

How big are the bottles of the pastels?

And lets say I were to buy a bottle of Pastel Berry Blue, could I add more deep blue dye to make it darker?

There are two version of Pastel from Mayhems

What we have done is taken IDC, changed the formula a little and dyed it. (with full permission from Ice Dragon Cooling) Please remember Ice Dragon Cooling fluids is a patented fluid.

1 Ltr Pastel is a ready to go coolant, Just pour and go and comes in different colours.

250ml Pastel is a concentrated version of the 1Ltr and you add 750ml of DI water or Ultra pure to it to make it into 1 Ltr. This saves on shipping and export. Comes in different colours.

You can add as much dye as you like to the pastel range to get a much deeper colour, We are currently working on makeing the pastel range UV active as well its just taken us a little bit longer due to the time of the year. We are all so working on a pure yellow version and Pure Black version too.

Some sample pics of UV Pastel.

UV Active Green Pastel (Normal Light / UV Light)

    Normal Light

    UV Light

[img]UV Active White Pastel (normal Light / UV Light)

    Normal Light

    UV Light

We have done this at the request of some of our resellers to keep the costs as low as possible so that every one can get there hands on it and not just users who have access to us in EU.

We all so do it for the Aurora range how ever im going to look further into make Aurora even better.

We are all so working on a new liquid we've aptly named X2, this is another nano fluid that contains No dye what so ever. it will not stain, it will last upwards of 3 years in a system, it will keep glowing under UV and should never fade. Were still in the early testing stages of the liquid and it will be a while before it sees the light of day.

    Some Samples pics -

Just one of the test systems im trying to build up to test the fluids.

The concentrated version of the pastel. Once mixed w/ distilled water is it a nanofluid similar to IDC? Is it is something completely different? Would I be able to mix it w/ the two liters I already have of Ice Dragon Cooling nanofluid?

Pastel contains IDC so i see no problem mixing it with IDC.

IDC is a mix of nano partials and fluid.

Mayhems pastel range is a mix of IDC, Inhibitors, De scalers, biocide, vegetable extract and dyes.

IDC is much thicker in looks than Mayhems pastel and looks deeper, Mayhems pastel is lighter and look more like milk.

No when we had to close up shop for a small amount off time when i had a accident some resellers didn't get back in contact with us because they thought we had gone for good. Instead (once things were sorted) we carried on due to support from user's, buyers and re-sellers and all so took on a partner in the business. Now we thieving and doing quite well.

If I had to use liquid coloring instead of cleverly placed LED's or colored tubing, I'd choose Mayhems for sure. Thanks for posting those video's about the different kinds of coloring. Almost makes me want to go down that path again.

Thinking of getting some mayhems dye (Aurora Tharsis Red" and using it with ice dragon, just wondering if you would know what would happen if I then mixed that with some of the black dye. Trying for a red/black theme overall but if you think I shouldn't mix those two (maybe it would be to dark, idk) I will just use tharsis red. Essentially what I want is a blood red dye which the tharsis just about looks like in videos I have seen.

Was going to use EK coolant but having to wait a bit for new monsoon fittings so decided I will go with my original plan of ice dragon.
