I found odd, was that some reviews showed BD faster in apps like Winrar etc, then others showed the oppesite... I actually like Techreports and Anadtech's reviews, but Anandtech should have shown low res and high res for all games and not just some.
I still want a BD regarless, can't wait ti try OCing it, which is how I role. I don't do anything fancy except run WCG and Game. I was most disappointed in power consumption though. But not a big issue for me either

You mean power consumption when overclocked, right?

125W TDP models have 110W TDP for cores, 15W for the NB & external logic, while the readings for 95W TDP models are 80W for the cores and the same 15W for NB & external logic. So it ain“t that hot chip at stock.

    Yeah, I know...
We are not at StockSystems.org thou.

L3 cache count for Core TDP on Sandy Bridge, and for NB logic on AMDs, is that correct?

i dont get it either? this small gaming review makes bd look "ok" but what i find really odd is when bd is pushed harder it seems works better?

the higher the res brings it closer to the 2600k im some benches wtf?

the higher the res the more the video card becomes the constraint on performance rather than the cpu. you must be new at this
