cause coretemp seems to be calibrated just like thuban. no way minimum temp is 14c, yet thats exactly what we see with current generation

and if thats the case then 71c load is well past the thermal limit (from the ozeros review).

I don't know whether to laugh or cry,all the hype, 32nm, I've had a 990FX MB waiting for the past god knows how many months... I guess I'll have to upgrade back to the Phenom II x2(@4) 4GHz

I'll wait for more reviews, hopefully there is some light in the end of the tunnel.

To be honest, JF spent months feeding everyone bullsh*t about this processor and you guys are cool with it?

The second thing they teach you in business school (profits come first) is to NEVER EVER EVER deceive your customers. It is far better to just keep your mouth shut and say nothing about an upcoming product than to have your comments turn out to be inaccurate or flat out dishonest. Nothing is ever gained by giving misinformation either. Especially when customers realize they've been played for the fool the entire time.

I hate AMD because it NEVER releases their products on time.... and, when it releases the product... is pretty dissapointing or bugged

And this is why won't be an octa-core from Intel this year, I just can't believe it.

OK in the sea of all this stuff, the main thing I'm waiting for is Movieman's WCG testing. I want to see what it does there.

There are some bright spots for BD, but for the most part, I am extremely disappointed. Gaming is my major focus, and unless PD brings a rabbit out of the hat, I'm pretty sure my next build will be Intel...sigh.
