Weird I noticed SB850 on the cinebench report.

Come on. In that video there are other people doing something with that system, while he is remotely trying to bench it. Have no idea what is the point of this :/
They didnt state the test setup (at least not in text form - I don't speak turkish!) so I have no idea what to think of this, for those who don't want to waste time watching a slow video here are the results from it:

SBB: I'm assuming those were all at stock clocks?
If so, it really doesn't look all that bad. Yeah, it's not the monster we had all hoped for, but it looks reasonable....
The Aida64 scores seem out of line, but that could be a software problem, and Spi I could really care less about.
It's priced reasonably, and I can't wait to see chew*'s results, let alone what the rest of us may be able to figure out with some tinkering...![]()

They didnt say in text, i'd assume so. Theres a lot of info missing from the graphics they showed - it was just numbers and name of CPU.
It's all about how far you want to take the black box interpretation. For the price, will it be better than Thuban? If not, don't buy it. If yes, buy it. I'm interested in gaming benchmarks, encoding, compiling, and rendering. Maybe zipping.

i thought MovieMan told us that AMD has got a winner at hand..but look at these benchmarks scores....
was there this much FUD before the phenom II 1090t launch? i forget but it feels very similar

Lab501 has come up with some pretty good articles that I've read in the past but I can't see how AMD would release something like this. Hopefully there's something that the NDA signers know that everyone without an NDA doesn't about bulldozer. Otherwise, I'm going to have to wait for one more generation or spend more than I'd like to upgrade my computer since I need the cores far more than I need the single thread speed judging by the way school's going.
It's looking rather disappointing for now but since I can't buy one yet anyways, might as well wait it out rather than join in the rampant speculation and arguing that's going on. Either way I put my opinion I'd get flamed as a fanboy and I'm not one.
Did the Lab51 guys have access to all this stuff that JF-AMD pointed out in his FAQ?
Not sure if OS optimize and app with the latest flags would make a big difference, but who knows.
Q. I saw a benchmark on xyz website. Is that how bulldozer will perform?A. No. Nothing posted before launch will be representative of actual performance. To get actual performance, you need:
Final production silicon
Final processor microcode
Final system BIOS
Final OS optimizaitons
Final drivers
An app compiled with the latest flags
A person who understands the app and configures the test properly
Without these things (and there are probably more), you cannot get an accurate benchmark. Any extrapolation of a crappy benchmark gives you a crappy estimate of actual performance. Period.
The OS, application functionality and users application knowledge are largely independent of AMDs control. The silicon, micro code, bios' and drivers are in their control so that list reeks of damage control where I'm concerned.
