Nice vcore on that one, what ram?
I've got my 2500K (3107B211) at x54 so far (haven't had much time for OC so far, new tests at next week). I think I kept the vcore on 1.6v, just to make it comfortable for myself and raise the multiplier each time I go to BIOS. Motherboard is Gigabyte Z68X-UD3-B3 which doesn't have very good PWM..
About 24/7 clock, it seems to run stable 4.6GHz @ only 1.3V, prime 12h stable + gaming tests.
Maybe someone has the same board and can share some tips about what to adjust and how much to adjust?

TBH I have no idea WTF I'm doing with SB overclocking!

Hi guys!
I left the the hunting for a good 2600K after 8 crappy chips (max X53) and today i bought my third 2500K (I am more lucky with these I had 2X55)
The strange with this third chip is that with PLL overvoltage enable or disable reaches tha same frequency...(X50) is that normal?
With PLL overvoltage enable i think you can reach 5 more multi...right?
That was what i noticed to my P67-UD4...
After a quick search I found that

Now I have a MIVE and maybe it is not the same...
PLL can certainly help with stability but in the end it comes down to the chip.
So...that chip is my worst. With more than X50 multi it freezes at windows logo.. and debug led on MIVE shows AA
2500K
Batch# L132B220
Max: X50
Nice run there.
hi i have a new in package i7 2600k bacth L105A823 do you know if it is good o bad ?? thank you vincent
Batch imho doesn't really matter. Just test it and see for your self.
I tested 13 CPUs and i can tell you, there is no rule to judge them

I was pretty lucky with sb cpu on my last 2 purchases. On my 4th CPU, I got a almost 5.8ghz cpu, so I though I should buy another one for general use to slow down the degrading of this CPU. In the end, the new cpu I got do better. 5.9ghz is spi32m doable and I will try for 6ghz validation when I get my hands on some LN2
