IIRC, that 1.75 or 1.8 or whatever was a comparison between a module, and two theoretical, complete and separated BD cores. The latter doesn't exist.

The problem is that most people replace those theoretical cores with K10 cores. . . this theoretical talk is too much to grasp for average joe.

The info I have offered is all I can legally disclose at this time so don't take it as me being rude and not answering questions.

    Understandable.

Is there any 900 series mATX motherboards coming out from any of the manufactures? I wouldn't mind getting a proper AM3+ socket, but I do not want to get one of the older 800 series.

Was that speed stable at all on the phase or just a validation? Can you say what it can run stably run at on phase? My phase runs at -55 to -60C (at the evap) so I am hoping to get close to what you showed if not better.

If the pricing on the 8150 is indeed $230 (give or take a few dollars) then AMD is going to have some serious problems keeping these processors on the shelf. I don't care if it's not a "true" 8 core at those prices.
As quoted by LowRun......"So, we are one week past AMD's worst case scenario for BD's availability but they don't feel like communicating about the delay, I suppose AMD must be removed from the reliable sources list for AMD's products launch dates"

Well you will have a true 8 thread processor (and thread would be more closer to core than ever before) .Doesn't sound bad at all, does it ?
230$ for 8150? How much is 2500K today? And what is average OC with high end air on 2500K?

Well, my local Micro Center only got 6 pcs. of 2600Ks on its shelf and stock room today and no plan to refresh inventory next week

Could be they make a room for the new cpu?

Depends on the batch of 2500K. Early batch's at release weren't that great. 4.6-4.8 the norm on air. Newest batch's are a lot better. 5.0Ghz+ on air

    Mine with a Hyper 212+ run 24/7. With a D14 i believe 5.2+ should be quite easy

I hope so. 179.99 8150 would be awesome.
