Lamptron Touch Question
Good day to you all,
I'm considering to buy a Lamptron Touch but I'm not sure if it fulfills my needs. I'm hoping you guys can help me out.
I want two different airflows in my case, one for non-stress situations and one when my rig is being stressed.
Non stress
2 exhaust fans and 1 intake, temperature controlled, but may never exceed a certain amount of rpm.
Stress
3 exhaust and 3 intake fans, temperature controlled, may go full throttle.
So when my rig hits a certain temperature, 3 fans have to be activated (from 7volts up, otherwise they won't start spinning) and 3 will have to know they can go full throttle.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance!

If not, does anyone know a fan controlled that could do it?

Check this review out: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...eo-review.html
Simply put, you can set the thermal probe to a certain temp where it will throttle. You set the constant voltage to the fan at which it will normally run. Once temps break whatever threshold you set, they ramp to 100%. Doesn't appear as if you can set the ramp up speed, it just maxes to 100%.
I also want to add that I own this controller and it's really nice. I frankly think it's worth the $70 asking price.

Well if it cranks it up to 100, it will be way too loud and I have a feeling it will go switch around too often then. Thanks for the info tough.
I've been looking around and I think I've found just the right thing, really pricey tough and it's more for a wet setup. But damnit it looks awesome. Mother of all fan controllers :P

There's a thread in the WCing section: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...uaero-5-series
Take a look and see what you can find. Absolutely tons of info there.
I wanted one myself, but bought the lamptron as I really didn't need to test flowrate, etc.
