The card itself looks nice but ASUS still using 1.5GB per core is just a damn waste for this card, if they were planning to charge more than 1K for this card, may as well use 3GB per core instead.

Would love to have one, but the price and availability will mean only the people on the inside or very deep pockets will get them. I doubt we will see it for sale at Newegg.

1.5GB vram per GPU makes it useless for quad SLI.

According to the article it only supports two monitors at a time. I get this is a benching card, but ti would be nice to be able to use it for Nvidia Surround when you are not benching.

Impressive cards. Matrix 580 holds much more interest for me. The MARS II seems.. Weak. MARS I was awesome, but this one looks weak to me. Not only does it have less VRAM, it's ugly. I know that doesn't really matter all that much, but when you're paying that much for a card it should at least look sweet.

So according to Tweaktown the GTX580 MARSII does support more than two monitors for Nvidia Surround, anyone know which is correct? Techpower or Tweaktown?

I know that the Dual PCB 295s support Surround, even when running one. (DVI+DVI+HDMI)

I assume that the MARS II will support it, since it is capable of the same config.
