Thumbs up [GEEKBOX] Ego-Maniacal TJ11 Project - Reggie Edition

    Hey guys!

One of our international customers has requested that we begin a build log for his upcoming Ego Maniacal build. This is the only place we'd go to share our work, so I hope you all enjoy following the progress of this build! As always, if anyone has any questions - please don't hesitate to ask.

We are currently in the process of dismantling a Silverstone TJ-11 case. Once complete, we will prepare the pieces for modifications and paint. Eye candy to follow in the next few days.

Part of the fun in following a build log, is being teased by the creator :) I hope you forgive me for keeping my lips sealed, and let the photos do the talking...

As usual, we've selected only the finest sleeve for our build - thank you Nils!

I am currently in the process of hand crimping the power supply cables to length, and sleeving. Something about making each and every cable the absolute perfect length makes it enjoyable. I'm always curious why high-end power supply manufacturers don't put more time into their work - at least attempt to keep the cables clean from tangles everywhere. All well - it's faster to crimp new wires than to sort through the mess and attempt to "fix" the mess. I find the quality of cable is better this way anyway.

I've dismantled the chassis, and will be prepping the various plates. I still have to drill the fill/drain ports, as well as some additional holes for the cable management that will take place near the completion of the project. Reggie and I have discussed the color scheme for his build, and I've found the perfect colors to match his vision for the machine. Simply cannot wait to share.

Small update - but a nice start. I'm building a few of these simultaneously, so staging everything well is critical for constant updates. Expect much more to come in the next few days.
