went out and got a new ud7 last week since giga is taking forever with the rma.
they must have done something different hardware wise or something because with the same f2 bios this board unlike the other two has no reboots or crazy crap after a restart?
\this board is soooooo cooprative when overclocking(or not)i cant believe it.
    same rev and all too.

all they gotta do is learn to read that its a b2 and the sata ports are gone lol

i even had to pay to ship them the b2 board
i should learn to stay away from gigabut boards

the MIVE booted my cpu@ 54x with ease the gigabut had a had time lol
    gonna update bios now lol
i know for a fact new gene-z bios is alot better

damn that suck lucky you have the mive in the meantime , Im taking it you didnt buy the board from newegg then ,newegg cross shipped mine and all in 2 days , maybe you'll get lucky and get a z68 board which is the exactly same board just for some reason gigabyte feels its better to give it more support . .

I think this board was great and has greatest potential of any of the p67 boards except maybe the asrock boards , but i think its crazy after 7 months the support doesn't feel its there , bad call on gigabyte part with a slow market this year and people not spending as much

    Thanks Andre

I have this MIVE P67 and it performed flawlessly, but it killed my first 58X chip...It serves time in the slammer now, no more benching. Lol

My early prod. UD7 B3 with F4 bios doing the benching grind.....It always work and always doing 3X reboots when changing bclk in bios

if you try the gene-z you will see the ud7 as an ecs

well ecs and gigabut are = in bios support now lol
i'll trade the ud7 for an ecs

to be able to do 54x now is
if you see voltage control you will be shocked
starts @ 1.42 and @ load does not drop
the gigabut starts @ 1.45 and drops to 1.42

as Dumo said asus is flawless

I do care, especially @ the odds of every (30) 2600Ks you bought with random batches, there (if you lucky) will be (1) 57X chip. Lol

Guys, enough for this "gigabut sucks" thing....Let them work to sort out the bios problem. If peep don't like the board then don't buy it as simple as that!!

@zsams, dont forget the Rex3, we both had crappy boards. Worst clocking x58 board of the 4 I tried for bclk, also the most expensive. I still cant make myself pull the trigger on another Asus board after that horrible experience, board still sits in the box.

The P67A UD5 has been a great board. It clocks higher than the UD7 I had been using, and scores great in 3D even at 8x sli or cf.

i think proper BIOS is on its way, as for the Z68X-UD7 everything is almost in in order, they fixed the LLC which really bugged me, and a few other small things. Still some great improvement with 1 BIOS release.

I will do a sort of off-topic but...
I come from the Asus Maximus IV Extreme... and I want a z68 motherboard, would you recommend me this board, the z68x-ud7 over an extreme-z for example?
Is it a good choise the ud7 with z68?

That's all, I hope this question doesn't make a mess of the thread.

PD: Sergio... on saturday you will loose
