do any of you guys know if the koolance vid nx580 would fit for a gigabyte GV-N580UD-15I??? (since evga has failed my rma, sending me back the same faulty card..)
Intel Core i9-7980XE@ 4.8GHz 18C/18TH (Direct Die Contact)
ASRock X299 OC Formula
ADATA XPG SPECTRIX D80 (4x8GB) DDR4-3800C17 B-Die
1x Intel Optane SSD 905P 480GB
4x HP EX950 NVMe 2TB on ASRock ULTRA M.2 CARD
EVGA RTX 2080TI KINGPIN 2190/8000 Stock Cooling AIO 240
SilverStone ST1500W-TI TITANIUM
Alphacool Custom Water Cooling
thanks buddy,i already own an evga wich goes smooth at 1ghz on the core, i know that by using 2 580 in sli is more difficult to reach those high clocks, but ... if you have tried your UD580 with the koolance block wich wich was your highest clock (yes i know that it depends from each card but i want to know that the same.
)

Hmm having some issues with my cards.
I don't go over 60c under full load but as soon as the cards hit 60c the display driver crashes, it happens without fail.
Clocks are at 970/2400 1188mv
I have tried using gpu-z with the /gtx500ocp switch but that hasn't seemed to make a difference, any advice would be appreciated.
Previously I could hit 1000 on the cores with the 3 cards in there but since moving up to 4 and hitting that 60c i just get the failed display driver error.
I would think thats a fine clock for quad
great clocks cole!
my lighting on air(62f room temps) 1.19v

Cowie, are you able to take the Vgpu higher than 1.2V through Afterburner?
no but i use a trick with my lightings and hawks...ab sets voltage to +W/E mv on lightnings/hawks..
now there is nothing stopping you form using nvi to add 1.16-1.21v before you use ab right?
so up to 1.40v can be added combining the two softwares on the 580 lightnings.
DONT USE THIS TRICK ON AIRCOOLING OR NON CHILLED WATERCOOLING
use at your own risk
i have killed 2-3 460 hawks like this all fried vrm's at 1.30v even on sub zero
besides i think that ab will let us start doing rt type soft mods i think not sure.
release notes ab b5
Improved active monitoring graphs list control in "Monitoring" tab reduces list flickering when hovering mouse cursor over it
- ReadMe file is now provided in RTF format instead of plain text format
- Now beta versions display notification messages informing you that it is about to expire soon in one week or less before the end of trial period
- Added update checking system
- [B]Added RivaTuner-styled command line interface providing direct GPU and I2C device registers access. Logical AND, OR and XOR operations are supported in addition to regular read and write operations. Now MSI Afterburner can be used by vendors for pre-production custom VRM testing and calibration[B]
- Added German localization
- Updated OSD Server:
- Added screencapture and videocapture support for Direct3D10 and Direct3D11 applications using BGR framebuffers (e.g. F.3.A.R.)
- Fixed Crysis 2 DX11 intro movies rendering issue when OSD is being displayed in raster 3D mode
- Updated profiles list

I dunno it feels a little weak, I would of thought I had another good 20c of overhead before I started running into heat issues.
Just out of interest what apps are you using to push the voltage past the afterburner 1213mv limit, I see you mention something called nvi.
Cheers in advance
its hard to get really high clocks in quad no matter what the cooling is so i think you have very good clocks.
if your referance non lightning max is 1.21ish software no matter what..
NVI is orbmu2k's gem app nvidia inspector or nvi as i called it sry.
edit
Oh and you maybe have two 1000watter psu's?...cus you might need it...there maybe a chance your power could be the limiting factor too, with that much vga power at hand....just saying not knowing.
thanks
keep up the good work cole

no i think you need to hard mod(vid mod) that brand of card if you want more.
trick only works with cards ab sets +mv ei:+200mv not numbered voltage setting like 1.135 1.165 ect.
like if i have a 560ti hawk i would put a pot on it for sub zero cooling
Then i use nvi for say 1.21v open up msi ab and add +150mv,so 1.21v + 150mv =1.37v
cant do that with any other referance card
to add from my edit from last post

so my evga got death after changing thermal grease and thermal pad... that suck's a lot, i've Rmad it , btw i've got a zotac, pretty much better than evga!
980mhz with just 1.125v ..... this one i think can go at 1.ghz easier than the previous evga...

EVGA does not return the same card to anyone on an RMA, ever. Did the card you received have the same SN? Does it have some distinguishing marking that you can use to prove it is the exact same physical card? EVGA's policy is that any card that is received is placed into a bin for testing, and one that has already been tested and repaired and tested again is sent out for RMA. Therefore, if you have experiencing the exact same problem with the replacement card, then the problem was not in the card in the first place. Have you tried contacting EVGA to see if there is anything they can do to help?
I've got my 580 running at 925/1850/2035 with 1.088v. I'm pretty sure I could go higher though. She never goes higher than 52 under load.
