    3dmark 03 and 15k limit

    What happend to the ORB?
I have scores that range from 14k to almost 17k but any score which is over 15k I can't publish, it doesn't matter how slow my card clocks are

Whats going on, can anybody else publish scores over 15k now?

Lardarse thinks it is to do with the null pixel shader options for nvidia cards giving cheat scores, so they have capped it.

Just have to wait till a patch it seems .. bit of a pain

    LardArse,

You know your number 1 score.
Are you saying if you try to upload the exact same score it comes up that you can't publish it?

Great. Hopefully I will be able to publish my 15,3k score then..
OPP would you have to re run the tests or will they allow us to publish via the Project Manager?

    Good question

I'll be doing new runs anyway, have to break the 17k mark myself

I remember the same 30k cap in 2001, our own OPP couldnt publish any scores over 29999 till they patched the orb. now we may be needing another patch soon for 40k

    One thing funky though.
I did a 16700 and saved it just now. I went back and uploaded it and it said I could publish it but it was not FM approved
This is the same driver I used a few hours back and got 16696, all approved

    Strange stuff.

it looks like the orb is having problems publishing scores over 15k. sometimes they will publish but you get "non approved driver" I would email them to remedy this error

Off topic, but sierra_bound , you have over 30 entries on pages 1 and 2 of the Orb , can you reduce them to say less than 2 ?

I'll never get off page 269 at this rate

When searching, select "show one/top project from each user. And you'll get the true picture. I love how people "publish" 500 scores!!!

Dont even ask where i've been!!!
