As far as I could see... all of you sleeve extenders and not the direct cables of the psu, isn't it?

Because... I want to sleeve my psu, but until now, using extenders gave me problems with voltages.
Apart from that I will buy an AX1200 which is fully modular, but well I will have to work on the original cables.

Another thing, in the corsair psu, the cables which are not sleeve, for example the sata ones. Al the wires are attached to each other, so if I sleeve them I will have to pull to the sides each cable isn't it?

    Thanks!!!

    My first sleeving

What I have to do now is cut the ends where the black rubber is and leave them all of the same size.

Did someone tried to sleeve the cables but using just the thermal ends? I mean, not the sleeving and then the thermal stuff to grab it to the ends of the wire, just all the wire with material used at the ends.
I hope to be clear enough, because I don't know how do you call the thermal material to grb the sleeve to the wires.

I want to try that on some cables.
So if someone has done it, would be nice to be seen.

Heatshrink that is how you call it!

No, what I tried to say was to sleeve the cable with only heatshrink, so you buy long pieces of heatshrink and use them along the wire without the already known sleeving. just heatshrink.

btw I saw many wires where I cant see the heatshrink but I thought that it was pretty small and covered by the plastic connector, but I'm wrong isn't it? I mean there is no heatshrink at all in those wires, isn't it?

    Thanks!

thats what already comes around the wires, each color represents a voltage, some come as all black (corsair hx series)

But what I would do is use for example red shrink for each cable, like when we sleeve and use sleeve for each cable, but now just shrink.
I will see if I do this on the eps connector and I will see how it looks because I already have the 24pin sleeved in the way we all know, each cable separately with sleeve and shrink on its ends.

That combat green sleeving is really nice. Before I was going to use green 550 paracord for my Sabertooth build, but now I might have to reconsider.

Wow, the pics in the thread have just pointed out to me how much of a noob I am. Amazingly high quality work.

Just wanted to say that molex pins/plugs and sleeve fraying are among my most hated things.
